PAPER PARIS

Regular visitor of Paris museums, Wong Wa thought about picturing his vision of the landscape that presents to him when he walks out of the museum. He particularly likes the late autumn days and that unique moment wher the day and the night meet and fight, giving the ambiant light a wadding effect, somehow hazy, just before the street lamps light up. Lights become more raw, the shadow turn darker, silhouettes have sharper edges. This violent contrats opens the door to imaginary, to creation.

After a quick drawing on site, the game will consist of exploring feelings, sensations, in order not to recreate the glimpsed landscape, but a new vision, an other Paris, away from realistic or photographic approaches, away from the idea the artist had of that landscape at the moment ha captured it. A thousand miles away from reproduction, imitation, a more expresionnist art.
